Bibb Co., GA (September 4, 2024) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that 24-year-old Jaxon Bilbrey lost his life as a result of a fatal hit-and-run accident that occurred early Sunday morning, September 1.
At around 2:30 a.m., Bilbrey was walking on Emory Highway near Lexington. For unknown reasons, he was struck by a vehicle. Bilbrey suffered severe injuries as a result of the accident. He was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene by authorities. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the accident are being investigated.
