Gwinnett Co., GA (October 31, 2024) – Injuries were reported as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Wednesday morning in Gwinnett County. Georgia State Patrol was called to the scene at around 7:00 a.m. on October 30.
Reports show that six vehicles collided on Interstate 85. The incident blocked multiple southbound lanes of the roadway near Georgia Highway 31 six. Paramedics were notified that they were needed on-site to care for the injured victims. Four people were transported to Northside Gwinnett Hospital in Lawrenceville, Georgia, for emergency care. Authorities closed off the roadway for more than 12 hours while assisting. At this time, investigations are ongoing.
