Lawrenceville, GA (August 14, 2024) – A Lawrenceville Police Department officer was transported to an area hospital with injuries following a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Monday evening, August 12.
At around 9:40 p.m., a police cruiser and one additional vehicle collided at the intersection of Scenic Highway and East Crogan Street. Authorities arrived at the scene and located the involved vehicles blocking multiple lanes of the road. The officer involved in the accident was injured. Emergency medical services responded to the scene to care for the victim. The officer was subsequently transported to a local hospital for emergency care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
