Sandersville, GA (November 19, 2024) – A fatal motor vehicle accident was reported in the Sandersville area on Sunday morning, November 17, claiming the life of one man. The collision occurred at around 8:50 a.m. Reports from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office indicate that a vehicle collision took place on West Church Street just outside of the Sandersville area. Two vehicles involved in the accident came to rest near Woodbine Drive.
Authorities arrived at the scene and located a Toyota Tacoma and Honda Accord with severe damage on the road. The drivers of both vehicles were transported to Washington County Regional Medical Center for emergency care. Authorities confirmed that one of the victims died after arriving. The victim was later identified as 55-year-old Bobby Dalton. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
