Demorest, GA (July 19, 2024) – Three people were transported to area hospitals with injuries following a motor vehicle accident that took place in Habersham County. Authorities were called to the scene of the accident around 7:55 a.m. on July 18.
According to official reports, a motor vehicle accident happened on Cannon Bridge Road, Georgia Highway 105. The collision caused one vehicle to go off the roadway near Smith Loop Road. Emergency officials rushed to the scene and went to work immediately on rescuing the car, which went over a steep embankment. Two children and one adult suffered injuries as a result of the accident. The three victims were rushed to area hospitals by ambulance. At this time, the Sheriff’s office is investigating.
