Atlanta, GA (August 30, 2024) – Emergency crews were summoned to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that sent at least one person to a local hospital with injuries. The Atlanta Police Department and firefighters were called to the crash site at around 6:50 a.m. on August 29.
According to law enforcement reports, a motor vehicle accident occurred in the 1700 block of Defoor Avenue Northwest. The incident prompted authorities to close down a large portion of the roadway as they provided assistance at the scene. Paramedics were notified that at least one person was hurt in the crash. They responded to the scene and immediately rendered aid to the involved victims. Those who required further medical attention were transported to local hospitals. The accident is currently being investigated.
