Atlanta, GA (July 31, 2024) – Authorities were called to the scene of a hit-and-run accident in Berkeley Park that sent at least one person to a local hospital with injuries. The collision occurred just before 6:00 p.m. on July 30.
Official reports indicate that an automobile accident occurred on Interstate 75 South. One of the vehicles fled the scene of the crash before authorities arrived. The incident prompted authorities to close down the roadway near Howell Mill Road Northwest. Emergency medical services were summoned to the crash site to care for injured victims. At least one of the people involved in the crash required further medical care and was transported to a local hospital. At this time, investigations surrounding the accident are underway.
